Credit Risk Assistant

  • Analyzes credit worthiness of accounts by reviewing the files of borrower that have been chosen by the Department. They are tasked to oversee the potential risks that every borrower may have.
  • Prepares reports of Loan Products and PD%, Composition of Loan as to purpose/source of income.
  • Monitors monthly loan releases of the bank.
  • Prepares report of Credit Concentration, Exposure Limits of Loans, Credit Risk Rating System, monthly maturing loans, and other reports that may be assigned unexpectedly.
  • Review and identifies risks of bank’s credit portfolio by preparing semi- annual Credit Review report based on diverse thresholds (large exposures, per product, per industry etc.)
  • With experience in operations, preferably gained from banking, credit union, finance and similar industries
  • With 4-year Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or other related courses
  • Business Acumen
  • Highly analytical and with strong process orientation.

  • Exercises personal judgment to determine materiality of findings and adequacy and effectiveness of the operation.
  • Assists the IT Auditor in the review and evaluation of the overall accounting and non-accounting controls of computerized information system residing on the Department and Branch computers. This requires conceptual understanding of the branch activities in relation to computerized information systems under review.
  • Supervises audit assistants and prepares work programs and schedules.
  • Conducts special reviews requested by the Management through the Audit Committee / Internal Auditor.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting; a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) an advantage
